This piece right here took me most of the day, and I think it turned out pretty damn good . I took a lot of things into consideration when making this, such as light pollution (which is why mainly the clusters and closer stars are visible). I also tried not to make it look like the blue star wasn't right next to the far away stars, so I made some space dust go behind it and such. Another thing I took into consideration was not placing the focal point (the blue close-up star) in the middle, so I moved it a bit to the side, this also helps because I have a lot more room to work with the stars. Sorry if you all think I'm obsessed with blue, because I am . All comments and suggestions are welcome!

i don't like the planet itself but i luv how you made the clouds around it and what not, it improved hte planet a lot! also i luv the star clusters in different arease and your nebula clouds are good
great job!!! it seems like you have used a lot of what Greg Martin said in his star tutorial, but it loks great, i see aline right by the planet, but the goodness of the rest of it makes it not matter so much, great work with the colors and textures... did you use all photoshop for this??
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
